What is Date Poll?
Date Poll is a powerful scheduling feature that transforms the often complex task of finding a suitable time for everyone into a simple, democratic process. Instead of endless email chains or message threads, your guests can quickly indicate their availability for multiple date options.
How Date Poll Works
Enable Date Poll
When creating your event, toggle on "Find a Time" instead of setting a fixed date. This activates the polling feature.
Add Date Options
Propose multiple date and time options for your event. You can add as many options as needed, each with specific start and end times.
Guests Vote
When guests receive their invitation, they'll see all proposed dates and can vote: • Yes - Available and planning to attend • Maybe - Possibly available • No - Not available Guests can also indicate if they're bringing additional attendees (+1, +2, etc.).
Track Responses
As votes come in, you'll see real-time updates showing: • Total votes for each option • Individual responses per date • Most popular options highlighted • Guest availability patterns
Pick the Final Date
Once enough responses are collected, hosts or co-hosts can select the final date using the "Pick This" button. This action: • Sets the chosen date as the official event date • Automatically converts poll responses to RSVPs • Notifies all participants of the final decision • Switches the event from poll mode to standard RSVP mode
The "Pick This" Feature
The "Pick This" button is the decisive action that finalizes your event scheduling. Here's what happens when you use it:
What Happens When You Pick a Date
Event Date is Set: The selected date and time become the official event schedule
Poll Mode Ends: The date poll is automatically disabled, and the event switches to standard RSVP mode
Automatic RSVP Conversion: All poll votes are intelligently converted to RSVPs: • Users who voted "Yes" for the selected date → Confirmed attendees • Users who voted "Maybe" for the selected date → Maybe attending • Users who voted "No" or only voted for other dates → Declined • Additional guests (+1s) are preserved in the RSVP
Notifications Sent: All participants receive an update with: • The final date and time • Their RSVP status based on their poll vote • Option to update their RSVP if needed • Any custom message you include
Event Page Updates: The event page immediately reflects the change, showing the fixed date instead of poll options

When picking the final date, you can include a personalized message to all participants. This is perfect for: • Thanking guests for their input • Explaining why this date was chosen • Providing additional event details • Setting expectations for the event
